MEET OUR NEW RESIDENT DIRECTORS:
Rachel Ceruti Choi & William Choi
This year’s new Resident Directors bring a full-circle moment to ABC New Canaan, as one of our own alumni returns home to help lead the next generation of scholars — and we couldn’t be happier!
Rachel brings twenty years of experience working with children of all ages — as a teacher, nanny, child development specialist, and Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda. She currently teaches special education in Norwalk and previously founded a sustainable fashion business that merged with FABSCRAP, where she served as Community Director. Rachel holds an M.A. from Fordham and a B.A. from Lesley University. She loves reading, family time, crafting, and yoga.
Will is a proud ABC New Canaan alum (Class of 1998) who attended Lehigh University on a full scholarship. After eight years in the hedge fund industry, he
transitioned to commercial real estate and today serves as a principal at a family office. Will has been a dedicated ABC Board member and alumni mentor for many years and coaches youth basketball in the Two Bridges community. “I’ve spent years on the Board trying to give back to a program that gave me everything”, says Will. “Stepping into the Resident Director role — alongside Rachel — feels like the next chapter of that. Now we get to be present in the house, day to day, for scholars the way people once were for me.”
