Introducing the ABC Advisory Council

This idea to form an Advisory Council was born after the AMAZING 50th ABC New Canaan Gala when a number of us realized the importance of the experience for our graduates. At the same time we wanted all of you who have been involved over the years to feel the impact of your contribution to the ABC community. One of the things we plan to do is send out an annual newsletter highlighting a selection of our scholars and bringing their stories to you. You’ll learn what the current students are doing, how our college students are faring, and the many different career paths our past scholars have taken. Our hope is that you’ll appreciate how your involvement contributed to the success of this program and we want you to continue to feel a part of it! You’ll have the ability to be involved in new ways and we’ll present those ideas to you in our September newsletter. 

Mission Statement – The ABC Advisory Council’s mission is to strengthen engagement of former Board members and Host Families with the ABC of New Canaan program with the goal of enhancing the opportunities of its graduates for success in college and in life.

Advisory Council members: Mike Curran, Melinda Fager, Polly Perkins Johnson, Jamie Boris, Alicia Meyer, Connor McGee and Ali Luddy. ABC Alum David Cox has been hired as Director of Graduate Support.
