ABC Freshman Dariel Ortiz and RD Khanisha Moore Pay Homage to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 

On January 15, 2024, the Interfaith Council of New Canaan hosted its annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at the United Methodist Church of New Canaan. 

In addition to guest speaker Reverend Adrienne Reedy and music from the Pivot Men’s Choir, this year’s service featured two members of our ABC New Canaan family. ABC New Canaan Resident Director Khanisha Moore lit up the room with her beautiful voice, and Freshman Dariel Ortiz delivered a powerful speech about the need to pursue justice actively.
